I'll have what I call a really really really nice 1909 VDB in hand Saturday. I've already looked at the 2026 Red Book and I'm wondering if it would be worth grading it? Or where do you find graded currency values at?

It would have to grade MS-65 or better to justify the costs of slabbing.

I appreciate the welcome! Its a real beauty I tell you. I'll add pictures Saturday before Noon, once it's in hand but since I am new to collecting, I'm not sure how high it would grade but to me it's SUPER nice...

It would have to grade quite high to be worth the fees.

Show us pictures and then we can help.

Looking forward to seeing full, large and sharp photos of the obverse and reverse. Thanks.

a 09VDB would need to be in the MS64RD range to cover grading costs. if you coin was circulated put it in an album or protective holder

As stated above, it depends on the grade it's in. Pictures would be great.

I wouldn't unless you are positive it was 66 or higher.

I'd really like to add pictures of it but I don't know how to downsize the pictures in order to be able to upload them...
