Hi,

This is how I acquired it. Just wondering if this is anything other than abrasively cleaned. I feel reasonably confident with the Indian obverse ID, but condition is hard to determine because of the cleaning.

Thanks in advance.

Yes Indian obverse.
Unfortunately harshly cleaned.
It may retone over time and look a bit better.

Thanks, echidna. Yes, Mr T, this curiosity was in with a bunch of silver that I was mostly after. I mostly collected US coins before living outside the US, but now things like this expand my interest considerably. So much to learn!
