Hello all! This is a very nice Poor-grade 1813 S-292, with a strangely-shaped lump on the right-center of of the head; it looks sort of like a brain in shape...it's definitely part of the coin; is it like a Knob-on-Ear, or a hunk of lamination that just didn't peel off? Thank You in advance.

This is a seriously worn down coin, and I extend to you respect for even knowing the date - and you also say the ID number.

Amazing that you early copper experts are able to do this.

jbuck: it's highly glossy, smooth with an old blueish tint... I think it was in a leather wallet or apron for a loooong time

Lowball PO1 for sure
NIce aquisition and thanks for the explanation of the date.
If it wasn't for that, it would probably just be a slick.
