I logged in to the USM website at 8:30am. Parked on the "My Account" page. At 8:45, the site redirected me to the "virtual waiting room" [ Powered by Cloudflare ! ] which advised I would keep my place in line as long as I did not leave the page or refresh my browser and once admitted, I would have 10 minutes to complete my transaction. "Product availability is not guaranteed." . . .standard stuff we've seen from previous 'waiting room' experiences.
At 9:00am, my estimated wait time was 14 minutes. A cloudfare "verifying you are human" screen appeared at 9:01. . .The wait times refreshed every 20 seconds or so: 9:03 - 10 minutes; 9:05 - 5 minutes; 9:09 - 4 minutes. I was admitted at 9:10. Had to do a fresh sign-in to my account after putting the coin in my shopping bag. Transaction was completed at 9:12 and received a confirmation email with the same time stamp. I logged off and closed my browser at 9:14.
For the heck of it, I went to USM web site at 9:19 and there was no waiting room. At 9:28, the waiting room was back in action, with an estimated wait time of 5 minutes. I hope CCF members who wanted this release were successful.

The " cloudfare " experience Was Much smoother,
Remarkably so.....Pay Pal option Too.

Is there a way to sign in on the U S Mint's site and See whats available, On days like this. I mean, If a person wanted to shop, Once signed in Now a Days, On a release date, They Can Not shop, Once signed in.....  I would appreciate that knowledge, Thanks and Best wishes to All seeking This release. |

Thanks Capt, Yes, The " select few ". I Never realized That . After I checked the Bay's pre-sale listings, They are selling at a Tad Over the originally released, To us Prices, from $249 for a PF-69 slab to Over $ 459 for a PR-70.!!!! We also figure the Same Authorized Purchasers get a Discount, Much less than We. WOW.!!!! What a racket. |

It was easy to order.
I can't seem to get into the loyalty program this year. I had one chat and two phone calls since August 7 but it's still charging me shipping. It seems like it would be so simple for an agent to count your orders and flip a switch.

The star and laser privy seem a bit gimmicky. I am trying to scoop up 1 of each armed service privy and stick to the BU Eagles. I don't have deep enough pockets for every new release.

Even though the loyalty program is supposed to be earned by any 3 annual shipments, including subscriptions, which I have double of at this point. Maybe they haven't updated their documentation for a policy change? I intend to call and ask.  |

Got an email from the mint. My coin has been shipped and I should get it by Monday.
