I'm learning the grading along with you. I posted one a while back and had that particular part explained to me. Thought I had a high MS coin and turns out, most put it at high AU. Just something new to learn.

In my opinion, I think that learning how to properly grade coins is the toughest part of this hobby.

Also, non-plated coins are so hard to confirm and locate info match and err-ref only shows a 95 and one that was chemically stripped. I just put those in a 2x2 and wait till a coin show hahaha

I agree with all of your points. It took me quite some time to learn about Doubled Dies and the different kinds of doublings. There's a lot to learn about this hobby. You always learn something new everyday.

I didn't get serious about this hobby until October of 2016. That's when I started searching rolls of Pennies for varieties and errors. My main interest is modern variety and errors, but I do collect other coins as well. I'm now trying to work on my Classic coin collection. I'm hooked. It's such a great hobby.
