1983 Lincoln Memorial Penny Possible A Small Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ?

I kid you not this was the last 83 I had from stash. I can see a small Amount in the U of United and the S's of state but only at the top of the Letters. I think E-Pluribus UNUM kind of looks strong but again this is the closets I've been out of all the 400 83's I had. If not let me down easy Report this Post to the Staff

Its okay to say keep searching I've been told that many times It is not a doubled die. I have seen this multiple times on zincolns and have never had anyone explain what this is very well. I have seen it with sunken and raised areas in the center of the letters and have deduced that it is some sort of plating issue, due to movement of the plating. Maybe from corrosion and maybe from just movement of the plating but not a doubled die. -makecents- Report this Post to the Staff
