Seems like CAC would rather under-grade and have coins be considered choice for the grade than risk over grading.

In my opinion, that is no way for a "rating" company to run a business; give the actual rating it deserves instead of looking out for a bogus reputation.

Question: for a common-date gem Morgan dollar, which is likely to sell for more, a PCGS MS-65 CAC, or a CACG MS-65?

We are programmed to pay more for a PCGS slab with a CAC sticker these days.
Collectors continue to pound into our heads that CAC is the way to go; now, everyone seems to believe it.
They are basically the same; an old guy sitting there giving his opinion on the nature of a coin's condition.
