I am thinking about purchasing this 1932S Washington quarter, its a key date coin and the seller is wanting $50 for it. What do you guys think the grade is and is $50 a fair price for this quarter? Thanks guys.

to the Coin Community! I'd say AG03. Yes $50 is a good price.

IMO, the obverse appears to be scratched, as far as price goes I think its fair. Have you considered throwing another $25 & getting a slabbed coin? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1675249670...gton+quarter Straight grade VG-8 listed for $75.

How bad do you need this coin right now ? Is it maybe to fill a spot in a circulated album collection where the condition would match others ? What's your budget ? Over the years I've learned (from this forum) buy the best grade you can afford. So if you're not in a hurry save up for a better grade...in the future it may pay-off nicely when trying to sell. Great Collections has a couple to watch for tonights auction...I'd say the vf might go for 120 and the xf for @ 160

I'm thinking it'll grade at AG at best. The price seems fair. I'm thinking maybe spend a little more and get one in Good or VG condition if you can afford it.

to the CCF

I agree with AG03 grade. The price is reasonable for the grade.

The reverse rim will hold it to AG-3.
