Hello, I will be going to Anaheim California next month, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any coin shops around there.... I tried Google maps but didn't find much. Thanks!

hey, biokemist6. Thanks for the link to finding coin dealers in your area. I hadn't seen that one. I did notice that they only have ANA members and dealers in there. I typed in the zip code for my area, and it only had 1 of the 4 coin shops that I frequent, but where do you find a complete list?

I use coininfo.com to find my dealers.

The one thing everyone needs to keep in mind with these search sites is that the information is only as good as the information given to them. Use them only as a reference guide, and a starting point to find dealers. MAKE SURE YOU CALL, before you start out to visit any of them. There have been a couple of times, while traveling, where I have not heeded my own advice, and run out, only to find that the place isn't there anymore.

Not only do you use up your valuable free time while on your trip, you also use cab fare, or gas money. And most important, you lose the excitement of actually getting to look at, and shop for coins for the day.

Fullerton Coins - Fullerton - this is an old salty dog - tons of inventory - small selection displayed - he made me some great deals on prrof set runs - he has some of the best coins in the area - he doesn't have a lot displayed but can come up with anything from behind the counter - this guy is old school

Gold'n Coins - La Habra - great selection - buy board - and a lot of standard circulated coinage

Michelles Jewelry & Coins - Buena Park - small shop - decent selcection - bid board -

May I also add Huntington Beach Coin Exchange - at the corner of Brookhurst and Adams - google it - Manny is all right - good selection

You can probably do the first 3 (I listed them in the order in which I recommend them) in an afternoon - they are pretty close to one-another - Fullerton Coins is only about a fifteen minute drive from Disneyland (I am assuming that is where you are going

L & C Coins - Los Alamitos - these guys advertise heavily in Coins Magazine - there is NO store front
I Nelson Clark Banknotes - Los Alamitos - don't know em
Westminster Coin Exchange - Westminster - don't know em
Bob Patchin's Coin Gallery Inc - Orange - don't know em
