numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 10989 Posts	Posted 06/09/2025 4:27 pm Sold a quarter-ounce gold eagle and purchased 17 Morgan dollars. These ended up being about $49.96 per coin. They were in a box marked BU but it is likely that it had some sliders and all were common date. Tried to pick out the best ones in the box. Will post one a day so as to not bury other threads looking for grading. As always, I welcome your thoughts. Thanks! It would likely market-grade MS62 at most TPG these days. The mark above ONE on the reverse looks older and not a big deal just curious. So far the coins appear worthwhile for the trade. panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 17577 Posts	Posted 06/12/2025 10:32 am strike a tad weak for the year. broken luster in areas and the cheeks are pretty marked up. something is going on around AMERICA. not sure. possibly the coin was lightly dipped to remove gung. .
