Sold a quarter-ounce gold eagle and purchased 17 Morgan dollars. These ended up being about $49.96 per coin. They were in a box marked BU but it is likely that it had some sliders and all were common date. Tried to pick out the best ones in the box. Will post one a day so as to not bury other threads looking for grading. As always, I welcome your thoughts. Thanks!

Not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but really love the purple toning and surfaces look better than what my poor photo skills can render. Having said that, this is a really awful pancake strike.

Pancake or no, it's an AU55 for me.

I'll say AU if I'm not mistaking a weak strike for circulation wear.

This one's a slider also. There's enough luster loss on the portrait to grade it AU58. The strike is poor for sure though so a low MS grade isn't out of the question.

the 89(P) strikes can be on the soft side. what you are seeing around the ear and breast are strike related.
