I found this coin few days ago CRH, to me look like it is DDR, I looked through Wexler, VV and coppercoins.com with not luck, could be a new discovery? please your thoughts it will be appreciated. Thank you!

When I think of '83's, I don't typically think of column DDR's but yours looks like one to me also.

I've seen many examples of doubling to the column in that spot.

It is related to die clashing, which is present on this coin. I suspect that this is caused by the die polishing done to remove the clash marks.

I initially suspected these could be Type I counterclashes, but I've seen them on coins that only have evidence of a single die clash.

I couldn't agree more with Tanman.

The reverse clashing is very evident on this one between the columns.
Since there doesn't appear to be any clashing on the obverse, the obverse die was most likely changed out.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

@Tanman2001 That make sense. Thank you for your explanation, I was wondering why I found so many of this too (In the Photo below), so that's the reason. I find it cool though
