Hello, I have been wondering about this for awhile. I am a cashier at a grocery store, and since I handle alot of money, I tend to see a pattern in the notes that I get. I see ALOT of 1988A series notes, and 1963 notes as well (mainly 1's). Has anyone else noticed to find alot of these certain series?

I rarely see a 1963 note in circulation anymore. But I did get one in pretty nice shape about a year ago. It's in my collection now!

Yea, every time I get a 1963 note I always put it to the side to trade after my shift... I have a 1963A note that I found, and it seems that it was ripped in half once, and taped back together, does anyone have any suggestions how to remove the tape without damaging the note?

Imho, I would just spend that note if it has been ripped in half and taped back together. Even if you got the tape off, it might leave an undesirable lighter and whiter area where the tape once was.

I think the most undesirable thing that might happen if you get the tape off, is that your bill would be in two pieces.

Yea, I was thinking about that, but I would rather have that then having a big brown looking tape in the middle

Well, that is pretty obvious and I didn't think that one needed explaining.
