Perth Mint are selling Tuvalu coins with JC effigy of Charles III

for example:
https://www.perthmint.com/shop/coll...oloured-coin

Can't find any mintmark on it either

Did Perth Mint actually mint these or are they just selling them?

Do all Perth Mint bullion coins have "P" mintmark on them somewhere?

Is there a faint P at 3 o'clock in the dot?

Just checked another image elsewhere. Maybe not a P in the dot.

The choice of portrait would be on a country-by-country basis. The Australian government has regulated that the chosen royal portrait for Australian coins shall be the DT portrait, and so therefore it must be. But this coin is not an Australian coin and Tuvalu is not a part of Australia and is thus able to regulate or legislate any portrait they wish, or even no portrait at all if they wish.

I believe Australia is the only country to choose the DT portrait, so it would not surprise me that Tuvalu has chosen differently. Or that Perth Mint has chosen the JC portrait for them, if that's your preferred point of view.

I'm happy to be corrected on this matter, but I'm pretty sure that every single coin on the Perth Mint website will have been made by the Perth Mint.

I can't find a mintmark on any of the Deadly and Dangerous series. I suspect the answer is "they always put it on their Australian coins but don't always on foreign coins".

I sent the following enquiry to Perth Mint:

"Just wondering if all coins on your website were minted at the Perth Mint and if so why don't they all have a "P" mintmark."

Reply from Perth Mint:

Thank you for your enquiry. Many of the coins available on our website were minted here at the Perth Mint - we also stock releases and issues from The Royal Mint, the New Zealand Mint, DirectCoins, Coins Australia, and Downies, amongst others.

The "P" mintmark is exclusive to coins that were both issued and struck by the Perth Mint, so these other releases do not feature our mintmark.
