Just went through a roll of low-grade 1917-P Lincoln cents that I picked up on E-Bay and found what looks like a 1917-P Lincoln Cent DDO FS-101.

Please see attached photos.

Fantastic find! Even w/ the circulation, I can see the doubling most prominently on the 9 & 7. Please provide full pics of obverse & reverse.

Checked it out. The level of detail in Lincoln's hair suggests that was an unusually well struck uncirculated coin.

I'm not sure I understand your point though. Are you trying to say that a presumptive 1917-P Lincoln Cent DDO FS-101 isn't the real thing unless it has equally strong doubling?

CoinHi, Coin Rejector and Errers and Varietys, thanks for the kudos on the find! Searching for a variety in a roll of AG/G Lincoln cents that have probably already been searched through by someone else isn't the same as searching through a pile of original BU bank rolls. But the find sure made my day. And PCGS lists a slabbed 1917-P DDO FS-101 in G4 as worth $110.

.... Thank you for supplying full pics. For rare DDO's such as this, they command nice premiums even in low grades.
