Somewhat related... your coin reminded me of a "Pawn Stars" episode where a person brought in a heavily worn Morgan dollar. I thought to myself, "This guy will be lucky to get the silver value for the coin." Come to find out, collecting heavily worn Morgan dollars is a legit subgroup in coin collecting. And I have to admit, the Morgan this person brought in was beautiful! For me, when coins are this worn it makes the focus more on the coin as an object of beauty or aesthetics and less about its value. Cool idea to show us your piece of art! Thanks!
