NoCents if it's available or NoCentsKyle. Name of my Dads boat if you can believe it, and no he doesn't collect but the name fits my family password and everything will be the same? I'll just refresh page until I see your response even if I'm logged out.

NoCents was taken.
NoCentsKyle it is.
Log out, log in with new name, same password. Everything stays, but I will have to ask Bobby to rename your image uploads folder to the new ID.

Jbuck you're awesome! It changed all previous posts as well, don't even worry about previous uploads I don't care I will do all new pictures when I start my intro thread unless you need to but I don't want to make more work for anyone. It's hard enough just reading my posts

Hey anyone who might see this, what are the terms on bringing a decade old thread back from the grave? It is perfectly on topic but fails to answer some questions I have , are there an hard rules? I mean I know it's probably frowned upon but it's PERFECTLY on topic.

Quote: what are the terms on bringing a decade old thread back from the grave? Definitely not best practice here on CCF. Rather, please start a new thread, but include a link to the old thread if you feel that there is relevant information there. With that said, there are a few evergreen threads, where reanimating is encouraged. Here is a link to one such thread: https://goccf.com/t/301900

I mean I know it's probably frowned upon but it's PERFECTLY on topic. While there are no hard-and-fast rules, the general internet etiquette of "no thread necromancy" applies. Our general rule of thumb, as moderators: if you have new actual information to post to the thread (for example, identifying a coin no-one else could identify), that would be permissible. Resurrecting a decade-old thread to ask a supplementary question, would not be. Best practice, in such a case, would be to ask your question in a separate thread of your own, with a link back to the older relevant thread.
