Sorting through some old silver coins, ran across this.

Unfortunately, the year has been obliterated. Not expecting help with the exact year, just the time frame. I can't really determine if this could be from 1912-1919 km#24 or 1920-1936 km#24a. The only difference on numista is the thickness and I don't have any way to measure that, and I assume due to the wear that wouldn't help much anyway.

Hoping maybe some obscure identifying mark may help differentiate.

There is no difference in the graphics from 1912 to 1936.
The only difference I know of is the silver content
1912-1919 - .925 silver
1920-1936 - .800 silver

Don't see a dot or a bar, for a '36, and the only ones in such poor shape which might mean a bit above scrap value...so as a cull coin it is worth about 7.50 Canadian for silver (@ 80%) which is about 10 buck US

No way of narrowing it down unless you can find out the silver content. It's worth $5.40 or $6.20 USD (depending if 80% or 92.5% silver).
