Hi all, I recently acquired this pretty cool looking Shield nickel with lots of big chunky die cracks and I noticed upon closer inspection several large die gouge lines through the annulet area. Anyone ever seen this before ? Does it match any varieties? (I could find none) Thanks in advance!

That's a nice " Retained Cud" that I believe isn't listed in Cuds on Coins.com , you may want to send pictures to JC ( make sure they're taken the way they need to be taken) and get it listed under your name . congrats
