I have not! Is this a good place to find deals?
Yes! Many, many, many of my album holes would lay empty if not for coins shows.

Prepare to be overwhelmed and feeling impulsive. Walk around, look at everyhing, enjoy the experience; the purchases will come naturally.

Remember, even when you walk away empty handed, you got to see things you only see in photos. It is a show, after all!

30-some years ago, money was tight. I used to set aside $10-$15 a month for coins, and worked on a Barber dime collection.

Started with the key 1895-O first. Took less than 18 months to acquire that. Then, I moved on to the second-most expensive coin, then the third, and so on.

My coin and currency collection has been completed for many years now. While I have a certain sense of pride and accomplishment when I periodically view the collection and show it to family members, I must confess that the "getting" was more satisfying than the "having".

Take your time, and enjoy your journey. And--above all--have a well-defined, achievable goal for your collection.
