1819/8 Capped Bust Half Purchase Advice

lucidfind Valued Member United States 203 Posts	Posted 08/04/2025 11:44 am I was considering purchasing this coin, except the black blotch, at about 11:30, to the right of the star, on the obverse, is bothering me; it's hard to see, but there is a small darker spot at the center of the blotch that makes it look like corrosion may have started.
