Hey all. Stopped at the bank today and bought a roll of the 2009 Guam quarters Denver Mint.

They're out and they're beauties!

Can't find them here in NC yet. Go back to your bank and get more so I can trade with you when they show up here.

The Bank I stopped the teller didn't even know they were doing new quarters this year.

They haven't seen rolls of any new coins this year, and I haven't seen a new '09 coin in circulation this year either!

My bank stopped with the last State Qtr. and said they will not be getting any "new" ones now.
Circulation is the only way for me with these Territory Qtrs....

Not to hijack, and not to bash all bank tellers, but it is SHOCKING how many of them are utterly clueless about the money they handle all day. I've dealt with quite a few tellers in my work life, and I'd say that the majority aren't even curious about money. Once, I saw a very old-looking $100 bill in the teller's drawer, and I asked her what series it was. She didn't know what I meant by "series," and when I clarified that I wanted to know the date, she asked, "How can you tell?" :headsmack:

My bank had the LC No. 2's, and the Tyler Dollars, but no Guam Quarters.

Considering that the Denver Mint released those Guam Quarters to the
Federal Reserve on May 26th, and your bank in North Dakota had them
for its customers by June 3rd, that's pretty impressive!

My dad told me yesterday he got a Puerto Rico quarter in change. He didn't know they were doing them either.
