I found this quarter, and when looking at its reverse side it has a series of vertical lined running from top to bottom of the coin. The obverse is normal. Is this an error coin?

Are those linear features raised, sunken (incuse), or flush?

@New Nusi - - Could we have a picture of the obverse and perhaps a more focused reverse?

to the CCF

Looks like it could be some sort of stain. Whatever it is,
it is damage as that could not have happened when the
coin was struck. Still worth 25 cents though.

To CCF! It could be a fingerprint or some stain. Doesn't matter what happened to it, since it's not an error. It didn't leave the mint looking like that. Worth 25 cents.
