Went out today to a few local banks looking for some
half rolls. Picked up 6 rolls and found 5 64 kenn's., 1 60-D franklin,
and 15 40% kenn's. Along with that 2 AU 1963 red star $2.00 notes
and one Ike. Still have to go through a few cent rolls. Not a bad find. Just wanted to share.

I grabbed 12 rolls today. 11 from one bank. (1) 1964 and (29) 40%. They were turned in rolled in an old cigar box. Mostly 1974 and older with a couple of Bicentennials. Also got a 1972d no fg

Hey thats pretty good. Thursdays must be the day to go.
I'm going back to one bank and see if maybe any quarters etc.
were also turned in at the same time and put in the vault.
I like it when the teller goes into the vault and comes out
with nice older brown wrapper rolls.

Holy cow, thats an AMAZING DAY!! youve found more 90%s in those 6 rolls than I've found in 14 boxes !!
same with the notes, congrats but now it's gonna be hard to live up to such a day huh!

i had a bad day roll hunting I got some cent rolls to try to complete my 1959-2009 set from circulation and oh my god the cent rolls were the worst I have ever received.

the coins were dirty, ugly, stuck together, gooey you name it most of them had it.

i did ok with my nickel rolls even though I have a set of jeffs I like to search rolls for the older dates you can still find. I found one 1939 and some upgrades for my set but 90 percent of the nickels were from the 1980s

one good thing happened I guess when I asked the lady for a bunch of nickel and cent rolls she smiled and laughed and said what kind of request is that so hopefully that means I am the only one that goes roll hunting at that bank

I went thru two nickel rolls today.

Nothing earth-shattering, but there was a 1961D in EF condition that made it into a 2 x 2.

About one quarter of them were real scuzzy too.....lots of wear. My guess is that they're slot machine veterans. I think one of the casinos here still uses actual nickels in their machines.

I never find anything in "Boxes". I have great luck with rolls turned in for deposits though. Man, I was planning on going fishing today and now you guys got me itching to hit the banks again instead.

I got a couple of rolls of Jeffersons yesterday. My best find was a 73 S Proof.
