I have about a dozen of these Morgan dollars between 1889 up t0b1920 some have a S mint mark.

My the question is. I not trust the coin shops near my area, is there coin dealer that you trut that you could refer me too? I would greatly appreciate if you could. I like to send them too, of course I'll insure them, just in case something happens.I'm just curious, if there's any value in them, it would be good adding to their college fund for my grand children.

What you got there is a 89 P...Redbook tells me that over 21 million were minted that year. So value (above melt) would be for higher grades. Check your LCS or ebay for an older RedBook some sell for around 5 bucks.
