I have a.couple coins that seem odd to me, probably ky nothing special but, I found the nickle in my coin jar. It seems to have a copper infusion or something? The penny my mother found, its definitely odd, but not sure if its anything special, or some carnival stamped thing.

to the CCF, Mjunkyard1. Your cent appears to have glue on it.

Those were two Lincoln cents glued together at one time. You can see the glue impression from the other cent left behind..

To CCF! Your coin was glued together with another coin. The impressions left behind was from glue. Sorry, but it's not an error. PMD. Worth 1 cent.

You could put in into and acetone bath for a day. I think you will find the glue will just fall off after a that.

Quote: No. Its clean, no glue or anything. Trust us, it's glue. We've seen thousands of these. You can see that it's raised, transparent, and a mirror image. Soak it in acetone for a day, and it will come off.
