Not nearly as obvious as my last DDO post, but I think I see a decent spread on IGWT & Liberty...

Scoured Variety Vista / Wexler's and I don't believe it's a match to any specific variety, however.

Am I really seeing doubling here ("ER" in Liberty, "R" & "S" in Trust, and "GOD" are what I'm mainly looking at), or is it just MD / DD etc.?

Does that look like a lamination error to anyone else as well?

Other than a possible Lamination, I am not seeing any doubling.

Thank you, I'm still trying to "calibrate" my eyes

For the sake of learning, is the effect in the highlighted area Machine Doubling? Or am I just seeing double

After comparing your coin to varietyvista's DDO list, your coin does resemble DDO-001 (Light spread on IN GOD WE TRUST) http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20...6PDDO001.htm

coin rejector, thank you! I didn't voice my thoughts on purpose but that one one of them.

I had been looking at VV 001 & 008, but it doesn't have any of the markers for either so I'm hesitant to get excited?

How does that work in this case, is it a minor sub-variant, or is it not necessary to have every marker?

Edit: Reading further, an early die state?

Congratulations on the find! That's a subtle one. Sometimes I'm wrong.

When you have a subtle variety on a cent, I think Copper Coins has much larger pictures than Variety Vista and Wexler. Plus the images are usually in full color. I have also noticed that the three sites often list different markers (in both writing and pictures), so it is always useful to check all three.

I agree that this coin looks like a match for DDO-001 (CC-1DO-007), particularly the word God.

Thanks everyone!

Snailking1, thank you, I'd tried to variety hunt with only a 10x loupe and very quickly gave up until receiving this scope recently!

Brandmeister, much appreciated! Admittedly, I haven't used coppercoins before, I'll definitely check it out.
