1943 S Steel Penny Error Double Mint Mark Unverified

BUCoin Valued Member United States 70 Posts	Posted 09/19/2025 11:52 pm Hello, I hope you're all doing well. I recently picked up a 1943-S steel penny that looks like it might have a minting error. I'm not an expert, so I wanted to ask for some guidance. Would you suggest having it looked at by a professional to confirm if there's really an error? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also there are 8 listed RPM's for a 1943S cent and yours is not one of them. What you see is probably a bit of Machine Doubling. If you bought this, I hope you didn't pay too much as it is worth about 25 cents tops. Report this Post to the Staff
