Had two hours of light to play so travel time was limited. hit two schools that we know get searched regularly but not methodically..
Did well for some one elses leavings.

Do I see a Log Cabin cent there in the photo on the right?

wow, I dont metal detect myself, but I look at every single post that gets put up. :) I am always surprised at the cute little trinkets everyone seems to find. That would be so exciting for my daughter.

For christmas I bought her and her friend each a national geopgraphic junior detector so that they could search for stuff together. Unfortunately..... his worked and hers didn't :(

Maybe if I ever see any more I will try again for her. Buying things on sale has its downside especially when there's no return policy available

Nothing wrong with those scraps. There are some around here that get searched regularly, but do always manage to find something. It seems that most people just check the main areas and don't take the time to search around. I have had some good finds from out of the way areas. I'll take the scraps all day long.
