Huge volume spike in Gold and Silver, followed by Red, right after a strong open.
Selling / taking profits into the strength. Let's see if they recover.

Silver is good as long as it (fingers crossed) doesn't flush and make another new low. And start to look like a stairway going down.

Gold, in the near term view, is sitting directly on a point of control node, at around $5050.. With a nearby point of control (price magnet) below that at $4950.

Silver, near term, is trying to accumulate and build a base at around $81, but there is a value area near $76 and another near $86. The value area at $76 is stronger right now, and is the near term point of control, for the moment. So it will tend to act as the price magnet, in the near term.

The good news; volatility remains relatively low. So Far.

Looks like we survived another day in the eighties. What will the off-hours bring?

Given that China and India are $6-8 higher, I think it will move up a little at least.

Nice overnight bump to $86.

Nice waking up to see Silver broke away to $86 last night, instead of towards $76. Definitely a positive sign for the metals. Let's see what happens after the casino opens shortly.

Okay so what I used yesterday, to find the hot zones I mentioned above, was the volume profile chart study. I just looked at it now whoa !! The new point of control for Silver flipped, and is no longer $76, now it's moved up to $114

I went back to look at Gold and it's POC just moved slightly up since yesterday from $5050 to around $5060. POC's are just areas where a high amount of trading has occurred in the past and tend to act as magnets. I am looking at short term intraday 30 minute chart. Different time frames show different POC's

Also this morning at around 7:30 am EST there was a huge volume spike in both Gold and Silver, more though in Silver. Somethings brewing. Could be the big players positioning themselves pre market?

Could be that Silver is gonna try and catch up to gold.

Forgot to mention that for Silver there's a small volume node between here and $114 and that value area is sitting at around $100. These are all just potential target areas to the upside. Not predictions or investment advice

Yes, let's go Silver!!

But It still has alot of work to put in to keep and hold $86

Looking at $82 and $90 as short term possibilities for the moment. baby steps, baby steps
