I have never actually submitted coins for grading before. I am trying to help my niece who wishes to submit two gold coins for grading. One of the requirements is that the coins be sent in 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 flips. An inconvenient size which I have never used. I prefer 2x2. Would there be a problem if I put the coins in my regular 2x2 flips? I am supposed to assist my niece with filling out the submission forms on Monday. Any suggestions about completing the process would be very much appreciated. Thank You!

I did a lot of sending coins to anacs. Sending your coins in is easy. Just go to their site and download the submission sheet and it tells you how to submit your coins. Just go to a local coin store and buy two vinyl 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 coin flips. Back in the day I sent my coins in plastic holders because our post office would pound all the packages. Use the two flips and then place the coins on a heavy sheet of cardboard that is the size of two flips and what ever package you send them in make sure you use bubble wrap. You will be o.k. Any questions just give them a call because they always will answer your questions. Also put insurance on the gold coins for their value when shipping them. Good luck.
