Hi all, purchased an estate recently and the guy was a metal detector--apparently, he found this at a construction site in Los Angeles, but I can't find any information about it--no current or past ebay sales, etc. Hoping someone can tell me more about it and what it might be worth, if anything. Thanks in advance.

The token shows that it was made by the L.A. Rubber Stamp Company. They made quite a few trade tokens, badges, stamped jewelry items, coat check and movie and transportation tokens, political buttons, and promotional materials over a long span, at least the 1880s through the 1930s. In some ways, they were a West Coast equivalent of Balfour Company in Massachusetts. That may be another starting point to find more information about this particular token.
