For fun I checked out a couple "error" groups on Facebook. Social media videos dominate people going to those groups In one group, I made comments on coins and tried educated people some. Most aren't interested in learning. I gave up on the group after a comment got deleted I made about this coin. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3765635521...ype=1&var=no
I merely said that I have seen many of these that really weren't 3/2 and asked for clearer closeups and for that my comment was deleted.

Another group I checked out had people that knew what they were talking about to a degree (no where the depth of knowledge in this forum) but they were pretty brutal when people didn't have errors and in underplaying certain errors and undervaluing coins.
So between the 2 groups the blind are leading the blind and the other discourages people.

I've seen the same over the past few months. It's a bad scene on there right now.

Usually younger collectors. They know everything already because "Someone" told them or "They heard" from someone. Alot of FB groups are like High School cliques - they don't want any newcomers.
