Just staining, no errors or varieties. PMD. Have you studied errors on error-ref.com yet? That will help you learn about what can and can't happen during the minting process. https://www.error-ref.com Here's a link to the steps of the minting process. https://www.usmint.gov/learn/produc...GXueOEK-yEPX Please read up on them. It'll help you and save you time on coins that are damage or have worthless doubling.

Could be a cupholder coin with all of the staining. Just a spender (unless you save the copper cents for their metal price).

I cleaned it with acetone and I was trying to point out the extra line alongside his back

I cleaned this with acetone. This is not a stain, it's pressed into the coin

Whatever caused the staining was a bit corrosive and "ate" into the surfaces - you can see the pitting.

That most of the stain is gone, but I am not sure what to make of the surface now.

A stain or cruise, the material.Whatever it can do cannot raise the copper to make it look like. It's an impression. This is elevated off the coin. It's not sunk in, it's not burnt in.It's not a line, it's raised, I don't know how to get a better picture.I appreciate all the input.I really do.I'm not looking for something for nothing but I think I do have something. And my cameras on my phone is okay.An ultra twenty five

Yes, and I am not sure what happened to cause this. Hopefully someone else has an opinion.
