In AG-3 condition, which this doesn't reach, it's a $20 coin. This OB3 is essentially worthless.

It's neither nickel nor a nickel, it's a silver five cent coin. Even our southern neighbours who coined the term "nickel" do not call their silver five cent coins "nickels", they call them Half Dimes.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

The only value in that damaged 5 cent is the value of the silver

Also FYI,
It isn't a Newfoundland Canada 5 cent, NFLD was
not part of Canada in 1888, it is just a NFLD coin.
