I am don't believe that this is a valuable coin, but I am very curious as to what it is. It looks like a braided hair large cent, but the word Liberty appears to be to close to the center to me. Would appreciate any comments. Thank You!

It is either Braided or Coronet large cent. Not enough of the coin is visible for me to distinguish. I think the reverse is rotated several degrees, which gives the illusion of the Liberty being in the center.

Thank you for your reply. Does a coin like this have any value at all? I have quite a few similar and I'm not sure what to do with them...

to the CCF

I suspect some of our experts will be along shortly and amaze all of us with an attribution for this well worn coin.

Stand by for that - and if you have others post them one coin per thread and see what the CCF experts say.

Without going through the books, it looks like 1820's or early 1830s cent. There may be enough of the reverse there to attribute it
