Certainly not pretty, but I always enjoy finding these type coins in Rome. Unlike a 1922 Peace dollar or a '21 Morgan, I doubt this got here in a collection...

Interesting find, Roma. Was this at a coin shop, and if so, how was the price?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Holed and scratched - still a nice find to make it all the way to Rome!

@hondo, From a coin shop I regularly buy bullion American coins from. It came with a number of silver coins I paid back on; so depending on how I do the math....but I'd just call it €10
