Sacagawea Dollars - Underappreciated?

It's a great coin. Not that underrated of a dollar coin, IMO. Not overrated, though.

The Sacagawea dollars and Native American dollars are my favorite series.



I personally have not purchased one because the wounded eagle is an error coin and I don't personally believe they're required to complete a series. I don't include the 2000 mule error either. I do include the Cheerios dollar because it's a die variety that was intentionally made, but you obviously don't have to. Don't forget about the 2000 Goodacre dollar. They're rare but can be found for a few hundred dollars. Finally, you'll need to exclude the 2000-W gold proof because there are only seven available. Below is a link to a good guide.

The Native American dollars are also a very cool series. It has more variety than the Sacagawea dollar series due to the changing reverse designs. The only expensive one is the 2025-W gold dollar. If you exclude this gold one, the set is very doable. Below is a link to a good guide, though information from the last few years is missing.
