Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6472 Posts	Posted 12/06/2025 12:13 pm This specimen of an 1857 mule clash is rather worn, but I figured for $22, the coin was still worth it. The half dollar clash marks are still visible on the right side (obviously), with two faded clash marks above and below the eagle's wing. I consider it a fair price for the coin in this condition. I tend to avoid auctions on the Flying Eagle varieties because you never know when the bidding will get out of hand for no apparent reason.
