I bought this 1805 Draped Bust Large Cent for 50.00, plus 4.25 for shipping off of USA C B. It's heavily worn plus has some PMD going on, on the reverse, but for 50.00, I couldn't pass up on it. It won't straight grade, but I don't care, since I needed it for my Draped Bust Large Cent collection. It has nice details for the price I paid. It was the cheapest one on there.

Thank you, jbuck! I've been making good progress on assembling a Draped Bust Large Cent collection. I now have 1800, 1801, 1802, 1803, and 1805.

Tunnioc, pretty much. It's hard to find them in decent condition without any problems. It was the cheapest one for sale on USA C B. I had to buy what I can afford, since I'm on a budget.

Nice! The story behind the reverse graffiti alone was worth it.

Congratulations on your purchase. Please don't read anything negative about this but I also was surprised about the current value. Not long ago I paid $67 for this one. I'm happy to hear about the current value.

Thank you, cipster! Don't worry, I am not offended at all. These Draped Bust Large Cents are pretty pricey now. Now with the cent discontinued, prices of these coins are probably going to go up, as time goes on. Yours is very nice as well, cipster!
