I was just scrolling on FB and saw someone selling a 2025 proof set for 250 dollars! I had no idea those were going for so much! It's apparently because of the 2025 cent.

Was that the clad or silver one? I originally bought my clad proof to crack open for my albums but now I'm afraid to. Wish I would have bought two of them if I hand known they were going to go crazy prices. Not to sell but just to have one still intact.

I do need a second proof cent for my 2nd album but hope the price calm down.

I don't think you will be getting coin trends from Facebook! You want trends look up on ebay what has sold.
And someone "asking" $250 is not someone "sold" it for $250. You can ask what you want.

Fair enough. Sold listing still from 165 to 225. I saw one without the cent for 61 dollars meaning that cent is a 100 dollar coin. Crazy.

I almost feel like I should go back to the Philadelphia Mint and buy more of the 2025 LE silver proof sets! Seems like I could make quite the profit flipping them LOL

The issue is the Mint pulled both the proof and silver proof sets because of quality and hasn't put them back on sale.

The silver proof set was only available for about 2 weeks.

They have to have a huge number of these sitting somewhere. Hopefully they go back on sale.
