It looks like the normal RDV-005 reverse. https://www.lincolncentresource.com...988RDV6.html

100% wrong. Forget about all those apps. They're terrible.

1988s are all WAMs and normal. It shouldn't even be bringing it up.

The Wide AM part is wrong. All of them are Wide AM's. You need to look at the FG initials, not the spacing between the "A" and "M" in "America". I'd stop using that coin app. It's garbage, no offense. I'd use error-ref.com or even doubleddie.com for accurate information.

For a while PCGS would certify the flared G as a Wide AM

This reverse was the same one used in 92 Wide AM cents (RDV-006) so they just kept the Wide AM name even though the non Wide AM cents were also Wide AM.

They have switch to Flared G for new submissions However there are still Wide AM slabs out there.

I have explained this more than once, but it does not seem to take, with anyone.... The " Wide AM" that was referenced by the TPGs was speaking of the thickness of the font, not the distance between the A and the M. It was a mistake for them to use this though because it was and still is very confusing to people, a mistake for the TPG's to have ever referenced it in such a way. Here is a pic from VV to show how the RDV-006 font is thicker "wider", the reference to the " Wide AM".

Yeah, that Wide AM terminology was terrible, and it's nice to see that they switched to Flared G.

If they had called it Squared AM or Thick AM, that might have been okay. Reverse of 1989 would have been better. Obviously Flared G is best, because it describes the most apparent feature.
