I got this in a group of 12 nickels a while ago. One of the reasons I got it was I couldn't tell if it had a Cud or not on the reverse. Inspecting it first hand. Metal seems smeared over the U in United so I'm assuming PMD there. Small lamination on the obverse and reverse.

Nice minor Lamination. The other area in question could be PMD.

For a well circulated nickel it still has nice eye appeal to me.

I just can't figure out where all that metal came from on the rim.
