$50. #27 of 35 acquired recently. I again tried to reorient the coin so that the cheek receives most of the light. Let me know if this is better. Thoughts? Thanks!

photos better NS. less shadowing. reed hit fairly prominent.
reverse looks 64 but I think overall the obv has to be the grade

My all-time favorite Morgan date. It's tough to find any 1897 that isn't dull gun metal gray, and yours has better eye appeal than most. I'm at MS-63 here.

You have a near date, and it looks like VAM-12, with a very lightly doubled 189, most evident on the 1 below the upper crossbar.
