So I'm relatively new to this hobby, only about 2 inconsistent years into it, the other day I had the opportunity to search through a few thousand pennies and other spare change that's been locked away in a safe and I came across this 1975-D that looks like has the lower half of an "S" over it. Seeing as they stopped the "S" mint in 74, I just chalked it up to being from damage of some kind or another but wanted to share this penny that had me all kinds confused for hot minute.

To CCF! That's just a circulation hit on the mint mark. PMD. Not an error. Worth 1 cent.
