Has anyone personally seen one of these? Any idea how prevalent it is? It looks like ebay is loaded with them so far.

Oh dear !.......so, how many people will be scampering to open their "Mint wrapped rolls" to inspect them for the DD's ? But this will put more LP1 singles into circulation......so....anything that will make my "Mint wrapped rolls" even more coveted in the future will be fine by me !..

Mklpatrick they are listed on coppercoins.com site. I think they have had 9 different DDR's found or sent to them.

Yeah, keep breaking them open so mine are worth more wrapped up. Looks to me like there are a ton of varieties that will keep the premium for any of them down.
If you found 5 in one roll, how many has others found per roll. I guess I'm just not a error type person :0

The only thing I see in these pics that may even come close to carrying a premium later on down the road is the "Double Thumb" and the "Extra Index finger". I don't see much need to get excited over the rest of the stuff. Especially if I have to use 10X or better magnification to see it.

I ordered two sets and opened one of the Ps last night. Found several of the Die clash ones, several extended thumbs and several extended fingers along with a few of the other verified errors. In all, I ended up with 8 pennies in the roll without any errors. I just noticed a few others listed (thanks John1) I didn't search for that could still be in there. I also spotted some things I haven't seen reported yet. I am keeping the other set unopened as it is the same date and time. Could possibly have just as many in it.

Fifty years from now...in the year 2059, imagine the ebay/coin auction Headline..."Unsearched/Unopened 2009 LP1 U.S. Mint wrapped rolls for sale"Assuming they never go N.I.F.C., this will be "on the cusp" of the next timely "50 year" design change for the Lincoln ! I wonder with the possibilities !.......hmmmm !(too bad that would put me at 90 years old.....50 years from now ! ... )

My coin dealer got rolls of the new cents (don't know how many) and he said he had four of these. I looked at one and it was pretty clearly the one in the news. He offered to sell me one for $10, but I didn't buy one.
