HackerJC Valued Member United States 80 Posts	Posted 01/02/2026 5:25 pm Hello and thanks in advance for the help... this is part 3 of me learning how to identity "details" grade coins to help make better buying decisions. Someone busted ole Abe in the nose! I didn't see the damage to the nose when I first bought this at a coin show... curious if you all think it is extensive enough for this to be considered a "details" coin. Otherwise, I had it around VF-20 (but could be wrong there too). I might be starting to get a feel for it... The multiple hits on this makes me think "details"... like, if it were 1 ding maybe that would slide. But this look like 2 or even 3 in the same spot. Thanks again! Report this Post to the Staff

If you have more of these to show please remove them from the 2x2 before taking the photo. The plastic distorts the image and could be hiding surface flaws.
