I was thinking of starting a Victorian dime collections and I noticed there are 6 different obverse varieties listed. Could someone give me a brief description of what to look for in these varieties. Any bit of information would be very helpful. Thanks

Hi Hawk. The best advancement you could make would be to buy Charletons. Any date would work to get the BASIC's of the 6 obv. Varietys. True experts even debate obv. designations in the 10 cent coin realm once wear has set in. A wonderful coin to pursue. :-) Self education thru any and all avenues may guarentee the best result! :-) no help eh! LOLOL

Dime varieties were highlighted in the 2009 Charletons, so that one would be your best bet!
