1939 Walking Liberty Half Dollar - Possible Die Crack / Die Chip? Looking For Opinions

domd1684 New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 01/11/2026 03:49 am Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some insight on a 1939 Walking Liberty half dollar that shows an unusual raised features, mainly on the sun rays. My questions: 1. Does this look like a die cracks? 2. Could this be late-stage Die Deterioration or something post-mint? I will upload more photos tomorrow . Thanks for looking.
