So my daughter went off to college with the good camera, and I'm using my iPhone 16 Pro Max to take ebay pics. The phone supposedly has a great camera, but it still churns out unnaturally subdued pics like this despite excellent lighting. The pics look fine on the phone itself, but nowhere else. I'm stumped. Old people suck.

This humble coin is sitting forlorn with no bids on ebay, probably because of the unflattering pic.

The pictures above are fine. Is it an auction starting at a penny, or buy-it-now only? Any watchers?

There are some good instructional videos on YouTube on how to use your phone camera and edit your pictures. I'd try that for your phone model.

The coin looks G6 to me. Maybe a small premium over price of bullion.

Thanks, I have it at G6, but I find Washingtons hard to grade.

The pics it honestly look nothing like the coin in hand. I had bright low-angle sunlight to work with and this was the best I could do. The Canon EOS 77D I was using produced much more faithful pics.

The coin is full auction like all my listings (which are getting many less views with my iPhone pics). No-one has bit at $12.99, which is below melt.

There probably just isn't much of a market for low-grade semi-keys any more. When I was a kid, I would build out series sets in different grades. Lincoln cents, Mercury dimes and WLHs especially. All financed with paper route money. Not many kids like that anymore, I'd guess.

There are 7 days left. Someone will bid on it.
I am replying to your other post with advice.

IMO the photo shows a well worn G06 range Washington quarter well enough to know what I'd be purchasing.

I find however the background ti be visually distracting. Try a piece of lightly colored paper instead of that woven pattern.

i agree with nickel, use a neutral dark background would help and maybe just adjust the lighting a little

i think it makes G6
